From isolated posts to a global graph

The Open Knowledge Protocol will include a knowledge graph. We call it the Knowledge Graph—formally, the Knowledge Graph of Humanity.

Instead of isolated posts, every claim becomes a node in a global graph connected to supporting evidence, opposing evidence, rebuttals, related claims, historical outcomes, expert annotations, and AI-generated summaries.

As debates evolve, the graph records how understanding changes over time. This creates a living, decentralized map of human knowledge rather than a transient social feed.

That concept elevates 8 Minutes Club from a better social media app to a protocol for collective intelligence—a vision that is ambitious, technically compelling, and philosophically aligned with the principles of a DAO.

Every claim becomes a node

In the Knowledge Graph, a claim is never an orphan post. It sits at the center of explicit relationships.

    Sources, datasets, and arguments that affirm a claim—attached as first-class edges, not buried comments.

  • Opposing evidence

    The strongest counter-case travels with the claim so future readers never inherit half a debate.

  • Rebuttals

    Structured challenges that refine, narrow, or overturn prior reasoning without erasing history.

  • Related claims

    Semantic links across domains so debates compose into larger clusters of understanding.

  • Historical outcomes

    What happened after a prediction or policy claim—closing the loop between assertion and reality.

  • Expert annotations

    Domain expertise informs discussion. Evidence still outweighs status; annotations remain inspectable.

  • AI-generated summaries

    Prism and other agents may summarize, retrieve, and surface tensions—never as the final authority.

A Knowledge Graph of Humanity only works if no corporation, government, or institution holds permanent control over the map.

The graph inherits OKP principles: open participation, transparency, decentralization, and community governance. Contributors challenge claims; the commons retains history; applications compete on experience without owning the knowledge itself.

That is the DAO-aligned ambition—not tokens for their own sake, but shared infrastructure for collective intelligence that participants can inspect, extend, and steward together.
